Medical Cannabis Education Central

MedChi encourages education that enhances patient care and safety. The purpose of this site is to connect MedChi physicians to multiple pathways of education related to cannabis use and the endocannabinoid system through self-paced learning modules. MedChi does not endorse or certify any outside organizations but has done reasonable due diligence in evaluating and recommending these specific programs.

 

The Society of Cannabis Clinicians (SCC) is an international 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to educating clinicians on medical cannabis. The SCC offers a series of 23 modules in their Clinical Training Curriculum. MedChi has negotiated a 50% discount for their 5-course BASICS package. The SCC website also offers system-based modules and a library of peer-reviewed journal articles focused on the endocannabinoid system and cannabis medicine. A professional certification track is also available.

The Association of Cannabinoid Specialists (ACS) is an international organization dedicated to the highest standards in the practice of cannabis as medicine. The ACS provides a variety of educational resources to include á la carte topic and specialty-based modules. The ACS offers 20 modules in their Comprehensive Medical Cannabis Course. A diplomate exam and certification is available upon completion of the comprehensive course. ACS offers a 3-hour CME Eligible Introduction to Cannabinoid Medicine Course.

The Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research (CMRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to education and research in the field of Cannabis. CMCR has a major focus on public safety and public health. Educational modules are offered free of charge as well as direct access to fully published research papers. No membership fees.
