Account Manager - 1
Pay:
 $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Job description
The primary function of the Account Manager - 1 is to serve as an advocate for CRISP and act as a liaison among a variety of healthcare organizations working collaboratively to promote, implement, and support the onboarding and ongoing utilization of CRISP services. The Account Manager - 1 assists in the development and maintenance of business relationships that support the successful adoption and continued use of CRISP initiatives and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct Health Information Exchange (HIE) outreach activities on behalf of CRISP.
  • Support onboarding and implementation of CRISP services for assigned healthcare organizations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for routine account inquiries and service utilization support.
  • Perform administrative duties including account entry, account setup, contracting support, and onboarding documentation.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare organizations and key stakeholders.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate meetings with healthcare organizations and partners.
  • Represent CRISP and MedChi professionally when attending meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, coordinate technical requests, and support customer needs.
  • Assist with state-administered programs, including the Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP) and Episode Quality Improvement Program (EQIP).
  • Travel locally as needed to support outreach, implementation, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary and Benefits

Meetings & Events Manager
Pay: 
$55,000–$60,000 per year

Job description:

MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, is seeking a Meetings & Events Manager who is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of meetings, conferences, special events, and organization functions.

This role ensures that all events are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals while providing an exceptional attendee experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in project management, vendor relations, and stakeholder engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of meetings and events, including conferences, networking events, virtual meetings, and special functions.
  • Develop event timelines, project plans, and production schedules to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, audiovisual services, accommodations, registration, and onsite operations.
  • Manage event setup, execution, and post-event breakdown.

Budget & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage event budgets.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with venues, caterers, production companies, and other service providers to maximize value and cost efficiency.
  • Process invoices, track expenditures, and prepare preliminary financial reports.

Stakeholder & Attendee Management

  • Collaborate with internal departments, leadership teams, sponsors, speakers, and external partners to define event objectives and requirements.
  • Manage attendee communications, registration processes, and service inquiries.
  • Ensure a positive and seamless experience for all participants. Measure event success through attendee feedback, participation metrics, budget performance, and achievement of objectives.
  • Prepare post-event reports and recommendations for future improvements.

Experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in meeting planning, event management, and/or hospitality.
  • Experience managing multiple events simultaneously with varying levels of complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with event management software, registration platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of audiovisual requirements, venue operations, and event production.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as required for events.

Ability to Commute

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional additional hours
  • Work Model: Hybrid option available after six months (subject to approval)
  • Location: Baltimore/Annapolis area
