Become an Accredited Provider
The Maryland State Medical Society (MedChi) through its Continuing Medical Education Committee, is here to help your organization achieve and maintain a status of accreditation.
Why? Accredited providers can offer learners AMA PRA 1Credit™ for CME activities provided by your organization.
The first step to accreditation is to complete a pre-application form. Upon receipt of this form and review by the CME Committee, your organization will be contacted and advised of next steps.

Not an Accredited Organization?
Non-accredited organizations can benefit from the accreditation of an accredited provider, allowing them to offer accredited CME activities without the time and effort of going through the accreditation process themselves.
A CME has been developed to explain the most recent updates in the PDMP, including valuable clinical tools and reports available in the CRISP Portal. This webinar is now available here and also under the "Online Education" box). Our presenter, Dr. Gary Pushkin, has an insightful perspective in this area through his work with the Opioid Task Force at MedChi, which has now evolved into the Opioid Pain and Addiction Committee. The webinar is available for anyone to view and is eligible for 1.0 CME once reviewed in its entirety. For questions, please contact Colleen George at CGeorge@medchi.org.
