Payments will be applied to new membership* or to an existing membership invoice**.

*Acceptance for MedChi membership or for a particular class of membership is subject to verification that the applicant meets the membership qualifications. If your qualifications for MedChi membership or the level of membership applied for cannot be verified, you will be contacted as soon as possible and, if necessary, any fees already collected will be refunded.

**If an existing membership invoice is overpaid, you will be contacted as soon as possible and, if necessary, any dues payments collected will be refunded.  If an existing membership invoice has a balance due, even after payment is applied, you will be contacted regarding the remaining balance.
