MedChi is expanding support for Maryland's free discount drug card program.
Component Medical Societies
Component Medical Societies are those chartered pursuant to written application and they are voted on by the House of Delegates. Each component is responsible for writing their own Bylaws, as long as they do not conflict with the requirements of MedChi. Component Societies are responsible for selecting their own members by making sure that they consider applications from every legally registered physician, which include both doctors of medicine and doctors of osteopathy, who resides or practices within their geographical area.
