MedChi as a Care Transformation Organization for the MDPCP:
MedChi partnered with the Maryland Department of Health to promote and assist with the new Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP), which launched January 1, 2019. MedChi has been approved as a physician led Care Transformation Organization (CTO) since 2019. The role of a CTO is to provide support to practices via care management personnel, infrastructure, and technical assistance.
