Governor Hogan has announced a set of new public emergency orders
that:
authorize the use of FDA-approve at-home testing
require hospitals to implement prioritization algorithms for curtailing elective and non-urgent procedures
provide guidance on patient transfers to alternate care sites
eliminates hospital visitation (with exceptions)
provide updated testing guidance
requires regular testing of nursing home staff
requires negative COVID-19 test prior to nursing home visits
The AMA has released vaccine-specific CPT codes for coronavirus immunizations
