2008 Changes in HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing Laws - This serves as guidance to providers regarding the changes in the law as it pertains to HIV consent, counseling, and testing. Joint communications will be developed once regulations are written, similar to that done to explain the changes to the law on HIV reporting in 2007.

Additionally, a conference call/webinar is being scheduled to educate providers on the changes in law. Questions and comments regarding the changes in law can be sent to HB991@dhmh.state.md.us.
